I have worked in Thunder Bay in mental health services and residential addiction services throughout my career. People tend to benefit from counselling for various struggles involving their relationships, life transitions and stressors, losses, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Those who know me often associate me with my passion for doing EMDR treatment. I have been committed to using EMDR to help people heal over the years, especially when I recognized that my clients who had mainly experienced “talk therapies” were able to get “unstuck” with EMDR treatment. I have witnessed people heal in profound ways. I want to continue providing these services within the community so that as many people as possible have access to powerful treatments for trauma.

I am an experienced therapist who will lead you through the terrain of healing from grief and trauma and connecting with your own spirituality. I will help you achieve the goals that are important to you.

I am an EMDR consultant and am certified in EMDR. I am a Traumatologist trained through the trauma Institute in Toronto. At present, I am engaged in training to be a Clinical Hypnotherapist.

If you’ve never been to counselling before, I encourage you to take a risk and invest in yourself. There are better days ahead. Taking the journey to get to know yourself better is the most rewarding commitment you will ever make. It’s work. You will learn skills to help you for a lifetime.
